Lost My Dog

Lost My Dog

Founded in Loughborough, deep in the Middles of England, by Strakes, Pete Dafeet and Nags Modhwadia, Lost My Dog is still a babe in the house music world, having supplied their innovative brand of top grade house music for a mere two years.

In those two short years, however, Lost My Dog has grabbed the attention of the world's leading DJs, press and most importantly the record buying public with a fresh and unique approach to underground house music.

Tipped by iDJ magazine as one of the "100 reasons why dance music still rules", Lost My Dog was described as one of the "most exciting house labels to emerge from the UK" in recent times. Refusing to be pigeon-holed into any specific sub genre of house music, Lost My Dog spans the width of underground house; expect quality deep house with techy, tribal and electronic sub-plots; dashes of dub, hints of jazz and splashes of old school. Put succinctly by DJ Mag, "Lost My Dog release vibrant house music with balls of steel."

This broad ranging sound is also reflected in the artists that Lost My Dog work with; a roster that encompasses a mixture of established names, rising stars and relative unknowns. Producers who have worked with Lost My Dog include Jay Tripwire, Fred Everything, Greenskeepers, Nathan Coles, Jay West, Harold Heath, YSE (Rhythm Plate) and a whole host of others, not forgetting of course the label's own Pete Dafeet and Strakes.
