Harold Heath - Monza
Full release: April 21st, 2008
Harold Heath's super-charged house music productions have been winning world-wide accolades for the last few years, with support coming from the underground and overground alike.
Harold elbowed his way into the House scene back in 2001 with his initial releases on the highly regarded Canadian imprint Stickman, having been DJing since the early 90s. His debut was the first in a long line of consistently high quality releases that have appeared on some of the most respected underground house labels over the last few years; Labels including Bushwacka's Oblong, UK outfits Urbantorque, Sensei, Lost My Dog, Freaked, Boxa, Uhuru Beats, Reverberations Ltd. as well as overseas labels Detour, Household, Soco Audio, Plastic City, Magnitude, Taboo, Groove Pleasure, Terraform, and KGB.
DJ support has come from all over the world with Layo and Bushwacka!, Ashley Beedle, Ralph Lawson, Satoshi Tomiie, Terry Francis & Nathan Coles, Pete Tong, Dave Mothersole, Tyler Stadius, and Desyn Massiello all succumbing to the unique charms of Harold's dirty jacking house and tech funk.
We welcome Harold to Southside Shuffle for an EP of real class, fresh from his well received album "Hole Funk" on Urban Torque. Harold presents three slabs of driving tech house dripping with funk - Lost My Dog's Pete Dafeet completes the package with an old school rework.
DJ Support from David Duriez, Inland Knights, Behrouz, Joshua (IZ), Hernan Cattaneo, Luke McKeehan, Kelvin K, Tyler Stadius, Da Sunlounge, Giom, Atnarko, Murray Richardson, Scope
